Bonjour à Tous!   

My name is  Dominique Lise (pronounced like "new lease on life") and I'm pleased to share my designs with you. As a Northern New England native (Portland, Maine), I'm the daughter of French Canadians who were proud of their rich heritage. Their adoration of the arts and endearing French flair undoubtedly impacted my need to create beauty.

During the COVID lockdown of 2020, there was only one thing a creative French girl could do to "laissez les bons temps rouler" -  create and design hand-made, one-of-a-kind jewelry using the finest quality semi-precious stones, faceted crystals, glass beads and rich leathers. My designs are pleasing to the eye and touch (you can even spin the stones as you wear them which is particularly fun for those with fidgety hands like mine). My pieces are imbued with healing properties that are comfortable to wear and made with "beaucoup d'amour" from my heart to yours. Each piece is made by hand by yours truly, and many of my designs can take upwards of four hours to weave. By 2023, I expanded my work to include hand-crafted greeting cards, and journal books so that you would feel inspired to pour your heart into something beautiful. (I'm all about heart and self- expression.) My newest passion is creating delightfully embellished Bohemian clothing and delicately crafted flower pendant lamps. No two pieces are alike such that you can express your beautiful self in ways that make you smile and spark great conversations.

After four years of traveling to a myriad of juried craft shows in upstate New York and New England, Fleur de Lise Beads & Boutique opened its brick and mortar boutique in November of 2024 at The Rotunda in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore City. I am completely blown away by the kindest, most beautiful customers (in and out) that come to peruse and support this small business. I am eternally grateful and humbled by such kind encouragement.
